Veysel Kaya teaches Islamic philosophy and theology in Istanbul University, Faculty of Theology. In addition to contributing to academic journals The Muslim World, Studia graeco-arabica, Darulfunun Ilahiyat, Ilahiyat Studies, and references Springer Encyclopedia of Medieval Philosophy, The Oxford Encyclopedia of Philosophy, Science, and Technology in Islam, Dictionary of Literary Biography he has published monographs Avicenna’s Influence on Islamic Theology (2015, in Turkish), Avicenna: Life, Thought, Influence (2017, in Turkish), Philosophy and Revelation (2018, in Turkish).
